TOM FORD was born in Austin, TX and raised in Santa Fe, NM. He moved to, where else?, New York and enrolled at New York University to study architecture. Now he is an architect of style in women's wear, eyewear, fragrances and accessories. After an amazing stint at Yves Saint Laurent that ended after the buyout, he announced the creation of the TOM FORD brand.
TOM FORD has won many awards and leads the fashion world forward with his distinctive style and what we call his "different" way of doing business (TOM FORD recently held a fashion show with NO MEDIA invited). He now lives in Los Angeles, London and Santa Fe.
The Vision Centres of Delaware are proud to carry the best of the TOM FORD EYEWEAR brand at all of our stores. The community in Rehoboth Beach has particularly embraced TOM FORD fashion, and made Shademakers Eyewear Store the center of interest for all things TOM FORD.
